In an active threat situation, emergency dispatchers are the hub of everything that occurs. Preplanning, preparedness, and training are critical. This course teaches attendees to better understand the dispatcher’s critical role during active shooter and threat situations. Participants will learn what to expect during these emergencies and their roles and responsibilities. This is an excellent training for all emergency call takers and 911 dispatchers. This course is designed to provide dispatchers with the knowledge and confidence to better understand and handle domestic and sexual violence incidents; specifically when it comes to helping protect responders and victims.
